I personally enjoy novels with solid writing and expansive plots. If the writing is subpar, I find it hard to continue reading. Typically, I’ll read about twenty chapters to decide if I want to add a book to my list. I’m a slow reader, often delving into hundreds of chapters before officially adding a title. I can assure you that every book I recommend is top-notch and worth your time. I have a preference for independent and strong-willed protagonists, and if the side characters shine as well, that's a huge bonus.
