A villager whose sheep are repeatedly taken by Chen Wen. He discovers gold coins left in his haystack and later reports seeing the black dragon to the village. He provides Chen Wen with sheep in exchange for gold, and his initial fear turns to cooperation. He is pragmatic about the situation.
