Aunt Wu is the matchmaker hired by Sheng Ze Xi. She wears a red flower and a red handkerchief. She goes to Huaihua Village to propose on behalf of Sheng Ze Xi but arrives just after Gu Jia Ning has been rescued from the river. She hears the gossip about Gu Jia Ning and Wen Zhuqing and initially considers rejecting the match. However, Gu Jia Ning wakes up and directly agrees to the blind date. Aunt Wu later delivers gifts and helps arrange the formal meeting.
