A young boy with a prominent red nose and a cadet crew member of the Roger Pirates who will later become a Warlord of the Sea. He is portrayed as cowardly, sneaky, and self-serving, always trying to dodge chores and hide from danger. He is easily annoyed by Beo's teasing about his red nose and frequently argues with him. Despite his selfishness, he has moments of kindness, such as secretly giving Beo half of his stolen jerky. He prefers throwing darts and daggers and is naturally good at finding shortcuts and hiding his treasure. He is often exasperated by the training intensity of Shanks and Beo, but is forced to keep up out of peer pressure. His strong survival instincts are already evident.
