Chen Dabao is the son of the Village Head, greedy and selfish. He initially distrusts Jiang Ming and threatens to expose the impersonation. He arranges his sister’s marriage to Young Master Jia for money. When the Jia family demands repayment, he tries to blackmail Jiang Ming. He later has his legs broken on Jiang Ming’s instigation. He is cowardly and opportunistic.
