The Eastern Margrave and one of the Four Great Counts, commanding the strongest cavalry in the kingdom. He is a martial noble who becomes infatuated with Count Jotun’s daughter when she is only eight years old, declaring his love so strongly that he is willing to go to war to obtain her. After the Count Jotun arranges her engagement to Crain, the Eastern Count feels insulted and issues a declaration of war against the Asgard territory. His army marches at extraordinary speed, ignoring all messengers, and annihilates the Asgard forces in a swift battle. His obsession and pride make him a dangerous adversary.
