Deina Herenna is the daughter of Pedro Herenna and Lorin's biological mother. She was abducted by Prince Andrei during his rebellion and married him in secret. She gave birth to Lorin and then, after Andrei's death, she suffered a mental breakdown and went insane. Years later, her father's physicians managed to bring her some lucidity, during which she revealed the location of her child. She is a tragic figure, caught in the political turmoil. Her suffering underscores the cost of Andrei's ambition.
