Ding Shi is Xiong Kai's elder aunt. She is aggressive and vocal, leading the group to the Su family to demand an explanation for Su Tai's foolishness. She insults Su Tai and insists on breaking off the engagement. Later, she tries to accuse Su Tai of injuring Xiong Dao. She is persistent and quarrelsome.
