Dongfang Sheng is the son of Marquis Dongfang, a nobleman who joins the competition. He excels in blade techniques and initially tries to use tricks to renege after losing, but is forced to flee when the princess (Wen Chou) reveals her identity. He is hot-tempered but recognizes Li Zhaoting’s superiority.
