Du Yong is a villain with fire ability. He leads a group of thugs, including his girlfriend Chen Li. He encounters Qin Zhuo's group at a rest area and attempts to attack them in order to take revenge for Chen Li and steal supplies. He is cruel and dirty-minded, making sexual remarks about Youxiang. In the fight, his group is overwhelmed by a zombie horde after the blood moon. He eventually gets caught by Chen Li and is engulfed by zombies along with her, dying tragically.
