The Elder is an old elf with long white hair and beard, who appears wise and cautious. Initially wary of Ygg as a possible unknown entity, he later becomes convinced of Ygg's goodwill and teaches him about magic. He explains the basics of magic generation, transformation, change, and operation. He states that most elves specialize in Plant Magic. The Elder cares deeply for Sefi and acts as her guardian.
