Fu De is Fu Beijun's father. He was once successful in business but failed and fell into debt. He has white hair from worry and constantly struggles to pay for his wife's medical expenses. He is kind and regrets that his son has to work hard. He tries to persuade his brother Fu Hui to give him more time to repay debts. He is a meek and unfortunate figure, leaning on his son for support.
