Fu Hui is Fu Beijun's uncle, Fu De's younger brother. He owns a factory and is greedy and inconsiderate. He constantly pressures Fu De to repay loans, even suggesting Fu Beijun drop out of school to work. He is self-centered and easily angered, as shown when he scolds Fu Beijun for serving hot water. He represents the unsympathetic relatives who take advantage of the family's misfortune.
