Fu Yanci is the Third Master of the Fu family, the designated heir of the powerful Fu Corporation. On the day of his wedding to Jiang Zao, he suffers a severe car accident that leaves him in a coma and later regains consciousness with his intelligence reduced to that of a three‑ or four‑year‑old child. He becomes entirely dependent on Jiang Zao, calling her “wife” (a term he is taught by his mother and sister) and following her everywhere, often holding her hand or hugging her for security. His childlike innocence shows in his love for candy, toys (especially the smart flying saucer), and simple activities. Despite his regression, he retains some underlying cleverness; he learns quickly and throws tantrums if Jiang Zao is not near. His soul occasionally detaches from his body, allowing him to observe events without being seen or heard, which gives him knowledge of Jiang Zao’s plans and her discovery of his IQ regression. He is emotionally sensitive: he cries when Xia Chuwei scares him and immediately runs to Jiang Zao for comfort. In his vulnerable state, he is utterly devoted to Jiang Zao, believing she is the only person he can trust completely.
