Gao Yu'an is the master of Ping'an Temple, an old Taoist priest who often sells Peace Talismans for profit. He is crafty and lazy, but seems to have hidden abilities. He lies on the ground to block the angry crowd and later shows genuine concern for his disciple. He accompanies Xiang Jiannan to the Chen residence and eventually defeats the ghost with his talisman skills.
