Gu Kaichuan is the Third Young Master of the Gu family and Bai Suihe's husband. He is currently away inspecting properties but expected back soon. In the original novel, he becomes a villain after his wife and child die in exile, seeking revenge against the female lead. He has not yet appeared in the story, but Bai Suihe hopes for his support. He is described as someone who previously compromised in the manor.
