Han Lao Da is the eldest son of Old Han and the father of Han Yuze. He is present during the family division scene along with his wife. He is one of the uncles who did not object to selling Han Luoxue. He does not speak much in the text, but he is part of the collective decision-making of the Old Han family. He is named in the phrase “Han Lao Da’s wife” and his existence is inferred through family relations.
