Han Mingyuan is Han Luoxue’s father and the third son of the Old Han family. He was once a skilled hunter who supported the family with game, but he became paralyzed after being pushed down a mountain by his own fourth brother during a wolf hunt. Despite his disability, he is a caring and protective father. He had saved the life of the village head Han Qiang in the past, and also carried his feverish fourth brother on his back through the night to a doctor, even working to pay for the medicine. After his accident, his mother and brothers treat him and his family as burdens, planning to sell his daughters for food. When Han Luoxue reveals the plot, he is initially shocked but quickly supports her plan to split the family.
