han yuze
Han Yuze is the son of Han Lao Da, a child of about seven or eight years old. He is the one who inadvertently blurts out the family’s plan to trade Han Luoxue and Han Luoyu for meat during the family division scene, shocking the villagers. He is innocent but blunt, revealing the truth of the Old Han family’s intentions. He is driven by hunger and the desire for food, and he runs to inform his grandmother when he sees Han Yuchen giving a rabbit to Han Luoxue’s family, hoping to get some meat. He represents a child corrupted by the famine, but also a tool of the adults.
