Hashirama Senju is the First Hokage, founder of Konoha Village. He has black hair, black robes, red armor, and clear eyes. He summons Kozō and is initially amused by the small insect. He entrusts his granddaughter Tsunade to Kozō, believing in others and the Will of Fire. He dies in Konoha Year 17 after his vitality fades, leaving his body behind. His cells are later cultivated by Tobirama and used by Kozō for enhancement. He is remembered as a hero who distributed tailed beasts to balance power. He has a carefree personality but is sincere and polite, even bowing to Kozō. He trusts others deeply, a trait that Tobirama criticizes as overly optimistic.
