He Xianglian is Qin Yun's elderly mother, who raised Xiaoyu alone after Qin Yun's imprisonment. She became blind from an untreated eye injury but is later cured by Qin Yun using his ancient legacy. She is kind and worried about her son's safety, and she feels grateful for her regained sight.
