Hilda is a young woman aspiring to become a healer but afraid of blood and combat. She joins Tadano in field work to gain experience. Initially hesitant, she learns support magic and gradually becomes confident. She accompanies Tadano for a time, eventually leaving to serve as a healer in dungeons and later receives an invitation to the Royal Capital. Her growth from a shy girl to a capable mage is a key subplot, and she regards Tadano as her first mentor. She is gentle and determined, and her departure leaves Tadano with a sense of change.
