Hong Yuan is the younger sibling of Pangu, originally a human who was transported to the Chaos Green Lotus by a system. Their gender is unknown in the text but is considered female for this extraction. They are not yet fully transformed and remain at the Mixed Yuan Golden Immortal peak, struggling with a misty cultivation path. They rely on Pangu's protection and later receive a projection of the Chaos Green Lotus from the Great Dao along with the World-Extinguishing Mill. They also obtain the Chaos Pearl from the system. Hong Yuan is kind-hearted and chooses to return a portion of Primordial Essence to Pangu to help him. They often tell stories to Pangu and are deeply attached to him. They anticipate the birth of Hong Huang and hope to break through to Mixed Yuan Great Luo Jinxian there.
