A steward of the Jiang Family. He selects Qing Yu from a group of maidservants to serve the new son-in-law Lu Ye. He is aware of Lu Ye's lowly origin through an informant and follows the orders of those above to place Lu Ye in the remote servants' quarters. He advises Qing Yu to simply obey instructions.
