Liang Liang is a seventeen-year-old student from a wealthy but broken family. Parents divorced early; mother abroad, father a CEO who neglects him. Rebellious, he fights top student Zhang Shuai over girlfriend Hao Jing and is expelled. After a vicious argument with his father, he leaves home. He becomes the closed-door disciple of Daoist Immortal Tara Mu on Cloud Peak, training for three years in meditation, Yi Xing Quan martial arts, and wilderness survival, transforming into a strong young man. Later, he meets undercover special forces soldier Lin Hui, helps her defeat three drug dealers with his skills, and is captured by the drug ring. During a stormy boat escape, he and Lin Hui are shipwrecked and stranded on a desert island. On the island, he uses his training to find water, catch snakes and crabs, and shelter in a cave, showing leadership, resilience, and growing affection for Lin Hui.
