The protagonist, a civet cat demon reborn after dying in a mountain fire on Earth. He awakens as a Qi Refining Second Layer civet cat on Mount Taiming and binds the Deity Role‑Playing System, becoming the bound deity of the fading Mount Taiming Mountain God. He uses Divine Dream Entry to guide the herbalist Xu Ling to a rare herb, and later unlocks the authorities of Plants and Trees as Soldiers, Full Mountain Perception, and Beast Taming. He advances to Qi Refining Sixth Layer and contracts the weasel demon as his servant.
