Lu Wu is a mythical beast, guardian of Kunlun Mountain, described as having the body of a tiger, nine tails, a human face, and tiger claws. It confronts Luo Yingxue when she attempts to ascend Kunlun for spirit induction. It is extremely powerful but ultimately slain by Luo Yingxue's sword, which splits the mountain. Its death releases the barrier that later allows Yu Kai's spirit induction attempt.
