Madam Jiang is a concubine of the Eldest Branch. She was originally Madam Tao’s cousin and arranged to become Chu Jingshan’s concubine after getting pregnant. She is gossipy and tries to curry favor with Madam Tao by humiliating Chu You, but she is outwitted and embarrassed. She also stirs up Madam Tao’s anger against Concubine Xia.
