Madam Song is the third woman in the gossiping trio on the boat. Jiang Zao specifically mentions that the Song Corporation is “even close to signing a contract” with Fu Corporation. Madam Song is the most affected because her husband’s contract could be cancelled. She represents those who casually mock others without realising the potential consequences. After Jiang Zao’s intervention, she and the other two women decide not to get off the boat and return directly home, humiliated and anxious.
