Manager Li is the chief steward in charge of the front courtyard of the General's Residence. He has served the family for many years, originally under Old Madam. When Guo Liangxian returns from the frontier, Manager Li greets him and notices the general holding hands with an unknown woman, which makes him uneasy. He reports to Yuan Xueyue about the general's arrival and follows her instructions for household arrangements. He is observant, discrete, and loyal to the family.
