Mrs. Chen is the mother of Sun Mengxia (though it is later revealed she is not the biological mother). She is a coarse and vulgar woman who constantly scolds and mistreats her daughter. She is concerned with appearances and obeys her husband Sun Heng. She becomes suspicious when Shen Fei starts acting differently.
