Mu Yao is the young lady of the Mu family from Yuan Yang Star, who ascended on the same day as Lu Ran. She appears first in the Immortal Washing Pool, wounded and unconscious, but later recovers fully. She is lively, talkative, and becomes friendly with Lu Ran, calling him by his alias Ye Nan. She is not afraid to speak her mind and shows curiosity about the Spirit Realm.
