Old Gao is the gatekeeper at Tianhe Academy, an elderly man who smokes a pipe. He has a good relationship with Lu Ye from his student days, often allowing him to skip class in exchange for wine. He informs Lu Ye of the Demon Suppression Division's arrival and advises him to come back later. He is a friendly and helpful character.
