The Old Tree is the ancient Tree of Life, also called the Elf Mother Tree. It has a human face on its trunk and possesses immense life force, but is now withered and dying. It nurtures Nature Elves and gives Lin Yi the seed of the Tree of Life. It tells Lin Yi about the glorious history of the Elf Race and his destiny to become the Elf King. Its death removes the protective barrier around the central plaza.
