The late Baron of White Sturgeon Island, Rosen's father, was a High Warrior who was killed by Forest Sprites while patrolling the border of the territory. His letters had indicated that the situation was under control, but his sudden death forces Rosen to inherit the title. The old Baron's poor management left the island barren and financially strapped.
