Su Hao is the head of the Su Family and Su Chen's father. He is initially angered by Su Chen's wish to marry the older Chu Yanran because of seniority issues, but is overruled by his wife Qin Xinran, who dominates family internal affairs. He is portrayed as henpecked but caring for his son. When Su Chen awakens the Divine Dragon Martial Soul and the Eye of Heaven appears, Su Hao is overjoyed, declaring that his son has the potential to become a Great Emperor. He oversees the family's external affairs and relies on his wife for internal matters.
