His power was derived from the fear of the populace, and the kingdoms later tried to erase all memory of him to prevent his revival. He is mentioned as the original Demon King whose throne Lu Che now occupies. His existence explains the origin of the Demon King lineage and the reason the Crimson Moon Forest was cleansed of demonic creatures.
