The woman is the mother of Da Ya, a missing girl in Qingyun City. She has swollen, red eyes from crying. She provides information about Da Ya’s disappearance and gives a personal belonging for the soul-summoning ritual. She hopes to find her daughter but is deeply distressed by the probability that she was eaten by monsters.
