Old Toke is a resident of Lair City responsible for patrolling guards outside the city. He is an elderly man with a strong build. He meets Li Wei by a stream and immediately recognizes him as a transmigrator. He offers Li Wei baked cakes and leads him toward the city, explaining local geography and customs. Toke is also present at the camp where he introduces Li Wei to the guards. He is respectful and eager to help, but he is also cautious about military secrets. He later confirms Li Wei's identity to the guards.
