Uncle Qiu is an elderly Taoist exorcist from the Mao family. He delivers talismans to Ma Xiao Ling and tracks down the fox spirit Jiajia. He intervenes when Ye Xiao is about to be seduced and kills Jiajia with a dragon‑shaped golden light. He notices Ye Xiao’s strange state when the boy becomes motionless. He is experienced and serious, and he works with Ma Xiao Ling.
