Void Locusts are the first monsters encountered by the players. They are black arthropod creatures the size of wolfhounds, oozing green pus. They represent the pathogenic bacteria within Gu Yuan’s lungs. In the game they are aggressive and deal bleeding damage. They appear in the Heart Core plaza during the opening wave and must be annihilated to unlock the bio‑energy exchange list.
