The man who adopted Xiang Zhihang. After his own biological son is born, he begins to neglect Xiang Zhihang, forcing him to do the hardest farm work and providing insufficient food. He eventually beats Xiang Zhihang severely, causing permanent damage. He represents the abusive adoptive parent figure in the story.
