Xiao Fuzi is the Chief Eunuch serving the Emperor. He is perceptive and understands the Emperor’s moods. He reports events to the Emperor and is quick to notice that the Emperor is interested in Su Zhiruan. He supports Su after she gains favour and stops another palace maid from entering the bedchamber when the Emperor is with Su. He is loyal and sharp, serving the Emperor for many years.
