A young herbal farmer woman living with her gravely ill brother Xu Ping'an. She is a devoted believer of the Mount Taiming Mountain God. After receiving a dream guidance from Lu Jueming (disguised as the deity), she finds the Zijing Silver Ginseng to cure her brother. She is harassed by the woodcutter Zhou Liqiang and becomes a formal believer after the divine manifestation.
