An old nurse in the Xie mansion, loyal and stern. She is the one who first catches Ruan Ningyu after the elopement, splashing cold water on her and scolding her for shameless behavior. She bows to Xie Ling and reports that she has brought the cousin miss. She shows no sympathy for Ruan Ningyu and is shocked when the latter talks back arrogantly. She acts as an enforcer of the family's traditions and follows Xie Ling’s orders without question.
