Young Master Jia is the son of County Magistrate Jia. He is superstitious, violent, and spoiled. He marries Chen Ermei but beats her when she is found to be a White Tiger Woman. He goes to the Chen family demanding triple the bride price. He is easily manipulated by Jiang Ming’s story about the White Tiger and agrees to pay Jiang Ming silver and land to “transfer the bad luck.”
