Zhang Qiling is a mysterious man found unconscious in the wilderness by Shi Ran. He suffers from amnesia, but retains instincts in survival and combat. He has a Qilin tattoo on his chest and possesses Qilin blood, which gives him special abilities. He is extremely strong, capable of killing Shi Ran in one move. He initially shows no interest in protecting Shi Ran but eventually agrees to escort her out of the mountains and later to train her. He gradually recalls fragments of his past, including his identity as the Zhang Family Clan Leader. He is silent, indifferent, and straightforward, yet he shows a sense of duty after being helped. He is a central figure in the world of Tomb Robber's Notes.
