I loved the use of blood tears. "Blood tears flowed from Su Chen's eyes" as he learned his parents' accident was engineered. That's a strong visual for extreme grief and rage. It's over the top, but in this genre, that's acceptable. It emphasizes the depth of his pain and justifies his later brutality. If he had just cried normally, it wouldn't have hit as hard. These little touches make the melodrama work.

The moment Han Qianxue said "I finally can be liberated" after taking control of the Su Family – that line was gold. It sums up her three years of acting. And her older sister telling Su Chen "she did it for the family, making such a sacrifice" – what a twisted justification. The sisters are written as sociopaths, which works for antagonists you love to hate. I just wish they had a bit more depth beyond "money and power bad guys." Maybe one of them will get a backstory in a later chapter.

Overall, this excerpt has all the hallmarks of a classic revenge cultivation story: betrayal, power-up, immediate retaliation, and future plot hooks. The writing is fast-paced and the emotional beats are clear, even if the prose is a bit rough in places. The controversial content (sexual assault as revenge) will definitely be polarizing. For me, it detracted from the catharsis. I'd rate the excerpt as a 6/10 for execution, but the potential is there if it plants its feet firmly in either the revenge thriller or the cultivation romance genre, not both awkwardly.

The burial alive scene was emotionally powerful because Su Chen's thoughts were so direct: "I'm not reconciled! Not reconciled!" It's a primal scream that readers can latch onto. And when the golden light appears, it's a classic rebirth moment. The Taoist ancestor figure giving him a hand was a nice touch, implies there is a higher purpose. I'm actually a bit interested in the lore of why this world lost spiritual energy ten thousand years ago. That's a neat setting hook.

The dual cultivation "mechanic" seems like it will dominate the story going forward. "He wants to quickly improve his strength... is to constantly pick up girls." That's a potential turn-off for readers who prefer a more focused plot. It could lead to harem overload. But if the author handles it with humor and genuine relationship building, it could work. The key is not making every female character a sex object. Han Qianrou's treatment already raises concerns. I hope the next female characters have more agency.

A detail I liked: Su Chen "bent down" to hide his embarrassment when Han Qianrou entered the room and saw him in shorts. That's a very human reaction. It adds a touch of vulnerability to his otherwise confident demeanor later. It shows that even after the betrayal, he still has moments of ordinary awkwardness. That makes his transformation more believable. Small details like this help ground the story.

I appreciate that the author didn't immediately resolve the Han Qianxue storyline. She's still out there, probably with Brother-in-law Yang Feng. That sets up a second act. The cliffhanger with Fan Jian being confronted by Su Chen in the cemetery is good. "When he saw Su Chen's appearance clearly, he couldn't help but shiver." That's a great moment of recognition. So we have the physician who wronged Su Chen now being at his mercy. That's a mini-cliffhanger that makes me want to read the next chapter.

The introduction of the Xiao Family as a new element was intriguing. "Longcheng Xiao Family" – that implies a bigger world beyond just the Han and Su families. It hints at a dynasty of aristocratic families jockeying for power. The fact that Xiao Caiyin is seeking a divine physician suggests that there are powerful figures with mysterious illnesses. This could open the story to political intrigue, and Su Chen's medical skills could be his ticket into higher society. I want to see how this weaves into his revenge plot.

The line "But I promise that I will definitely take revenge for you. The Han Family owes us, and I will repay them tenfold and a hundredfold!" is a bit cliché. It's the standard revenge oath. But the delivery at his parents' grave made it feel genuine. I think if the author had added a specific detail about his parents, like a memory with them, the oath would have hit harder. Still, the emotional core is there. Su Chen's filial piety is a good motivation.

Han Qianrou's transformation from arrogant to terrified was well executed. At first she's mocking him, teasing him, even daring him to violate her because she thinks he's a eunuch. But when she realizes he's not, her panic is palpable. The way she tried to threaten with Yang Feng, then begged, then tried to bribe with her phone – good emotional range. Her weakness was well portrayed. Even though I dislike her character, the acting in the scene (through description) was effective.

The scene where Su Chen tears Han Qianrou's clothes had me rolling my eyes. It felt like it was trying too hard to be edgy. The line "I told you, I'm not a eunuch, but the True Dragon Son of Heaven!" made me cringe a bit. It's trying to combine power fantasy with sexual vengeance, and it didn't fully land for me. I think a more subtle revenge would have been more satisfying, like outsmarting her or humiliating her through exposure of her crimes. But the route they went was... too explicit.

I'm a little mixed on the "True Dragon Sacred Body" name. It sounds a bit generic for such a specific physique. There are so many sacred bodies in xianxia, but at least it has a unique trait (dual cultivation). I just wish the power-up had a more unique name. But I suppose it's straightforward. The awakening process was decent – "I never expected my descendant would be the rare True Dragon Sacred Body." That ancestor voice added a sense of destiny and lineage, which is nice.
