The dynamic between the classes is shaping up to be really good. Divine Guards being mountain-clumsy but tough, Spirit Pivot Envoys being glass cannons with crowd control, and the Hunters being the agile finishers. The “teamwork makes the dream work” vibe is strong. I especially liked the “Da Li Chu Qi Ji” guy yelling for the mages. It’s that classic MMO “tank and spank” strategy, but applied to a sci-fi fantasy setting. It made me want to see them tackle a boss.
Cai Yun is such a perfect early antagonist. The son of the wicked minister Cai Jing, full of himself, and surrounded by flatterers. “No one under the age of twenty-five is my opponent. Therefore, I am destined to take the first place.” This guy is just an arrogant peacock. You can feel the narrative setting him up to get absolutely demolished. His entire identity is tied to his status, so seeing him get humbled by a nobody is going to be incredibly satisfying.
