and without any markdown beyond the separator. Also each should be between 100-500 characters? It says 100~500 words? Actually “每段控制在100~500字左右” — that’s characters in Chinese, but since output is English, I assume it’s words? Actually “字” in Chinese means characters. But for English, usually we count words. The instruction says “每段控制在100~500字左右” in the output format section. Since it’s English, I think they mean words? Or maybe they mean characters? The source is in English, so I’ll aim for roughly 100-500 words per segment. I’ll try to keep each paragraph reasonable. Now I’ll write 30 segments. I’ll write them one by one, separated by
I'm already feeling so bad for the original owner's backstory. She was literally swapped at birth and then grew up with a mental illness in a society that probably didn't help her at all? And the original owner was a total monster, sure, but the way she's written as this irredeemable villain makes the new Jiang Xinli's job so hard. The five husbands have every right to hate her guts. The author doesn't shy away from making her original character truly awful, which makes the redemption arc for the new soul that much more interesting and dramatic.
I love how Lin Feng doesn’t waste time crying or being sentimental about the betrayal. He wakes up, processes it in like two paragraphs, and immediately starts plotting. That kind of cold, calculated revenge mindset makes for a fun protagonist—no dragging, just action.
30. The “favorite concubine” backstory is handled with restraint. We don’t get a villain’s perspective yet, which builds mystery. But I crave a little more from the father’s side. Why is he such a scumbag? Is he just greedy, or is there more? The story risks making him a cardboard villain. I hope the author develops him in later chapters, even if just a little, to make his betrayal sting more.
